UX Designer / Engineer

We are looking for a developer with a keen eye for detail and a builder mindset. This role blends aesthetic and technical skills; the Design Engineer is a visual design resource to team-members while also building and shipping production-ready code.

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Hybrid)
  • Hourly Rate: $90k - $110k

What You'll Do

  • Rapidly experiment with concepts with a cross-functional team, composing high-fidelity assets to create alignment
  • Represent usability, simplicity and consistency in design discussions
  • Code and ship solutions using Vue or Flutter

What you Bring

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in front-end development, preferably with Vue.js or Flutter
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Strong portfolio showing UX/UI taste and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards
  • Experience with front-end build tools, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate designs into functional code
