Logistics Coordinator
Drilling & Interventions

IronSight powers the field logistics behind some of the largest operators in oil and gas. Our platform coordinates trucking, maintenance, and field services across drilling, completions, and production — giving operators real-time visibility, cleaner data, and meaningful cost reductions on every well.We are scaling rapidly across the Permian Basin and are building out our Midland team to support a major IOC's drilling and interventions programs.

Role Overview

IronSight is hiring a Logistics Coordinator based in Midland, TX to support the Drilling and Interventions (workover) divisions of one of our largest Permian Basin clients. This role is the single focal point for the full range of support services that keep both drilling rigs and workover rigs running — safely, efficiently, and without downtime.

You will work a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule alongside a counterpart coordinator, ensuring 24/7 coverage of rig support across the basin. Your goal is simple: keep every rig moving.

This is a high-visibility role embedded in one of the most active drilling and interventions programs in the Permian. Success requires the ability to make fast, informed decisions in a constantly shifting field environment, balancing safety, cost, and uptime across multiple rigs simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and dispatch all support services for active drilling rigs and workover rigs across the client's Permian program.
  • Schedule and optimize the full mix of field services, including: Vacuum trucks, water hauling, and frac tank moves; Pressure trucks, hot oilers, and chemical services; Cranes, pickers, and rig moves; Hot shots, freight, and last-mile logistics; Roustabout, swabbing, and ancillary rig support; Maintenance and inspection services as required
  • Keep the rigs running. Proactively manage logistics across multiple drilling and workover rigs in parallel, anticipating service needs before they become rig delays.
  • Drive cost and efficiency by consolidating services, reducing wait times, optimizing last-mile movements, and matching the right provider to the right job.
  • Act as the central point of contact between client company men, rig supervisors, service providers, and the IronSight Command Center.
  • Track, analyze, and report on service utilization, response times, and cost drivers using the IronSight platform.
  • Respond in real time to changing field conditions — reprioritize services, redirect crews, and communicate adjustments to all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by surfacing recurring issues, recommending workflow changes, and driving measurable operational gains for the client.
  • Position Type: Full-Time or Contract
  • Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
  • Location: Midland, Texas
  • Rate: from $600 a day
